RS3 is planned as a **full-day workshop** combining invited talks,
peer-reviewed paper presentations, and interactive discussion.

Format

The current structure from the workshop proposal includes:

- opening remarks and workshop overview
- keynote presentation
- short paper presentations
- poster session for all accepted submissions
- panel discussion
- breakout group sessions
- roadmap discussion and closing remarks

Planned Outcomes
----------------

The workshop is intended to produce:

- a post-workshop synthesis report
- a research and infrastructure roadmap for research software supply chain
  security
- guidance relevant to institutional research security programs
- a sustained interdisciplinary community around the topic

The proposal names several possible keynote speakers and panel participants from
research software engineering, scientific computing, and software supply chain
